A padding press is a device that creates pads of paper and notepads. It holds stacks of paper in place while a specialized glue, called padding compound, is applied to one edge of the stack. After drying, the stacks are removed and cut down to size.
With the J2436 padding press, you can make your own notepads, scratch pads, and even carbonless forms with any customized paper you print or buy, up to 23.5" high by 30" wide. The J2436 is ideal for large print shops as the Titan is the largest professional padding press available. It features single person operation with centered pivot prevents the unit from drastically tipping while loading and unloading. Premium features include: Positive locking latches to keep doors from inadvertently opening while loading; drip tray to hold tools and standard size quart cans; a lower supply shelf to conveniently store glues and brushes. Additional safety and ergonomic features include: twin doors with easy to use thumb latches, no pinch or crush points, locking casters, spring-loaded tilt latch and shallow tilt angle which allows for safer tilting and easier positioning for durability and functionality. Padding compound sold separately.
