A padding press is a device that creates pads of paper and notepads. It holds stacks of paper in place while a specialized glue, called padding compound, is applied to one edge of the stack. After drying, the stacks are removed and cut down to size. Padding presses can be found in a variety of shops and businesses, as pads of paper can be found in every single office, classroom, and even home. With the J1824 padding press, you can make your own notepads, scratch pads, and even carbonless forms with any customized paper you print or buy, up to 22" high by 17.75" wide. Made from sturdy steel construction for long-lasting durability. No tools are necessary to operate, operates with wing screws that tighten by hand.

About the manufacturer

Martin Yale bindery and finishing products are great additions to your office. We carry machines that perforate, score and slit, used to prepare business cards, cd inserts and more. Our paper slitters are self-sharpening, so maintenance is low, and the cut stays true over time. Our Martin Yale stackwagons make easy work of storing and toting large stacks of paper across the print shop floor to keep your machines running and minimize downtime. Easily make your own notepads with one of our 3 padding presses, choose from two desktop models for smaller jobs or a giant floor model for big jobs. Our durable machines will hold up over a long, useful life.
